Vikas Johari
Vikas is a University of University of Miami graduate with degrees in Psychology and Marketing. A serial entrepreneur, he founded Maxposure in his dorm room in Miami in 2006 at the age of 20. He is also the founder of Monsoon Salon & Spa and a Partner at Startup Superfuel Fund.
He has been instrumental in building MaXposure’s business and led a landmark transaction in which 78.5% of the company was sold to Bertelsmann in 2011, before being acquired back in December 2014.
Monsoon Salon is among the fastest-growing salon chains in India, with 200+ locations. In October 2016, Vikas co-founded Be U Salons, a platform that enables salons to scale through a suite of services including inventory and HR management, customer relationship management (CRM), consumer behavior analytics, and expense management.
In 2023, he co-founded Buyume, a venture empowering beauty professionals and salons to sell services and products together. Buyume supports professionals with technical upskilling to improve consultation outcomes, access to beauty brands, and technology tools to optimize customer consultation and satisfaction. The company has attracted investment from leading global and Indian funds including Omidyar Network India, Lighthouse Canton, 100Unicorns, and ZNL Growth Fund, and is on a trajectory to become a leading unicorn in the beauty-tech space.
Vikas actively evaluates investment opportunities for Jaipur Capital and has participated in executive and professional programs at London Business School, University of California, Indiana University Bloomington, and HEC Paris.
Prakash Johari
A Boston College graduate with a degree in Finance and Operations Technology Management, Prakash is a serial entrepreneur who co-founded Maxposure Media Group in 2006 in Miami and scaled it into one of India’s largest content marketing businesses. Maxposure was listed on the National Stock Exchange in January 2024.
He is an active investor in India’s startup ecosystem and has served as an anchor investor in the Superfuel Fund through his family investment entity, Jaipur Capital. Jaipur Capital operates across multiple investment models, including incubation, direct investments, 100% acquisition, and strategic market access through private equity fund investments.
Jaipur Capital plans to launch a Category II AIF in FY 2026–27, focused on investments in the SME and technology sectors in India
Alongside his brother, Vikas Johari, Prakash runs Three Hands Infrastructure, which is developing commercial towers across the Delhi NCR region, a 30-acre logistics park in Neemrana, and is planning its first data center, Iron Vault, in Greater Noida.
